The Hong Kong Government has released a stimulus packages in the form of tax breaks and subsidies to alleviate the financial impact that COVID-19 has played on many businesses and individuals. On the 27th May 2020 “The Exemption from Salaries Tax and Profits Tax (Anti-epidemic Fund) Order was issued by the Hong Kong Government. It will financially assist many business and individuals and will take effect from the year of assessment 2019/20.
